Things to check before you call:
Check your air filter. If you have low air flow coming from your vents, check your air filter. It should be change if 30-60 days dependeing manufacturers.
Check the batteries in your thermostat. Most of newer digital thermostats take batteries which die out over time.
Check your breaker box. Sometimes a power surge may trip your breaker. However if this happen often give us a call or you electrician.
It is cheaper to maintain than to replace. Equipment is getting to replace these days so keeping what you have in tip top shape is a good idea.
